Terms and Conditions

The Instructor shall make his services available to the pupil for the sole purpose of giving the pupil driving tuition at the rate per lesson and from the time and pick up point agreed.

The instructor shall have the right to substitute another fully qualified DSA approved driving Instructor for the purpose of giving all or any of the lessons or test coverage, if the Instructor is not available for whatever reason.

In the event that the Instructor is not able to substitute another DSA approved driving Instructor for the specific appointment, or in the event of a mechanical breakdown. The Instructor reserves the right to rearrange the lesson to a convenient time to suit both parties.

The instructor will carry motor insurance covering the pupil whilst driving tuition vehicle on lessons or when accompanied by the Instructor or Examiner on test.

**All lesson fees shall be paid in advance or at the beginning of each lesson. **

**If the pupil fails to give the Instructor a minimum of two working days notice cancelling any lesson, the pupil shall be liable for the full lesson fee (payment) in respect of such lesson.**

**Last minute pick up changes affecting other lessons must be deducted from the pupils own lesson time. It is not possible to knock onto other pupil’s lesson appointments. **

The pupil agrees that they are duly licensed to drive the tuition vehicle.

Driving tests can only be accepted after a mock test has been taken (Risk Assessment), after which the pupil must reach and maintain a safe test standard.

Pupils who are waiting for a re-test must keep normal driving lesson appointments up to their next test appointment. While this driving school encourages its pupils to do some private practice, it also confirms that private practice be in addition to driving school lessons not instead of driving school lessons!

Vehicle checks before tests - It is the responsibility of the pupils to check lights, tyres, etc and report any vehicle damage before the test. Once your check has been done the vehicle is deemed to be in correct working order at the handover to test. This driving school will charge for careless damages and cannot not offer any test refund for any bulb failure after your check.
